Rejection of Task: The delivery fleet works in shifts because BigBasket deliveries happen in specified time slots. If a person commits to a shift but refuses to complete a delivery, they are issued a warning letter. Beyond 3 warning letters, the worker is called for a discussion on their continuing with BigBasket.
Payout Structure: Once in 10 Days, Monthly
Bonus/Incentive Structure: Linked to the completion of a number of tasks (directly proportional).
Social Security/Benefits: Full-time staff has PF/ESIC provisions. Entire fleet, including those engaged via third-party logistics providers have on-job accident insurance. Staff also get subsidized food coupons to eat at the BigBasket Hubs.
